Gallbladder ultrasound
Using ultrasound, the gallbladder can be easily visualized. Common problems like gallstones, gallbladder polyps, and gallbladder inflammation (cholecystitis) can be assessed in details. Comparing to computed tomography (CT scan), ultrasound scan is also free from electromagnetic radiation or contrast injection.
